My Super Power – a word from our MD Victoria

By December 11, 2019 No Comments

It’s getting cold out there and Christmas is fast approaching, so it feels like a good time to stay in the warm and wrap up the year.

And what a year it’s been! However you are voting or whether you said Oui or Non to Brexit, it has certainly created a pretty disruptive backdrop for business and we have had to work that much harder to find bright spots. At Print Search we have been stronger together as we have worked extra hard to connect to our neighbours, to our city, to our environment, to our clients and to each other across the 3 businesses. We have continued with our business open days and to raise money for our Charity Partners whilst continuing to do significant things for our environment.

The novelist James Lane Allen said “adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it” and that has certainly been the case this year business wise and also for me personally. I have battled to come to terms with permanent hearing loss in one ear and to get over a car accident which wrote off my car and almost my confidence! My super power has become resilience and I have learned to value mental health equally with physical health. Afterall everyone deserves a good day at work.

We have great aspirations and ambitions for the year ahead but in the meantime hope you all enjoy the festivities.
